Adoptable Cats

FoFF's adoptable cats have been socialized from a young age in foster homes and are friendly and looking for a loving forever home.

If you would like to adopt a cat from FoFF, please download and complete our Adoption Agreement form as an interactive Word document or as a PDF and submit it to us either by fax or mail. We'll ask a few screening questions and do a brief home visit.

We ask for a donation to help defray the costs of basic medical care, such as the following, that we provide before their adoption:

  • $85 for kittens up to six months old
  • $70 for cats over six months old

  • Deworming
  • Flea/tick/mite control
  • Testing for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
  • Vaccination for major feline diseases (Rabies and Distemper)
  • Spaying / neutering

    • SALVATORE

    Salvatore (Sal) is confident, outgoing and affectionate. He's a big plush 14lb boy who love to cuddle, be carried, get belly rubs, and lounge and play. He enjoys his cat roommates, but would be happy to be your only cuddly housecat as well. He prefers not to associate with dogs.

    ROCKY

    Rocky is approximately 10 years old and a stray for approximately the last two. During the last two years, he's been eating at my house for at least once and usually twice daily and pays regular visits to the decks and steps of neighbors' homes. I can pet him - and he loves it! He also tries to get into my house and will sleep on the chair in my mudroom, if I leave the door open for him. He likes to sit on the roof of my car and look in my dining room window at us. He is litter box trained and gets along well with the feral cat in our care. He has been neutered and vaccinated for rabies. Rocky would love to have a home of his own where he could become and indoor cat and live out his golden years.

    RAFFI

    Raffi is a fuzzy black polydactyl girl who loves to play and roll around to get petted with lots of belly rubs. A silly cat, she likes to romp with her brother Taylor and sister Marsha. She loves to come and visit people and enjoys all other cats.

    VIRGINIA

    Virginia is a very sweet, fun loving girl with a long coat and happy attitude. She loves to be petted and lifts herself up to meet your hand when you reach out to her. She is very playful and enjoys being an indoor cat, although, she's pretty interested in trying to slide out the door. She's very people oriented but may hide out for a bit with strangers. She gets along great with other cats and would be happy to be an only cat as well.

    LOTTIE


    Lottie is a fuzzy small black girl with a pretty round face. She enjoys being with people and rushes to visit. She is a talkative girl who loves getting patted and being played with. She's starting like getting picked up but mostly prefers her feet on the ground.

    BROTHER

    Brother is an affectionate cat who likes to talk to you while walking in-between your legs! When he was rescued he was a scared little kitten and now a loving sweet boy! He is a lap cat, loves to be patted, and will talk back to you. Please have patience with him where he is shy around people he does not know, but warm up quickly. He is not into young kids, but is comfortable around older kids 7 and up. Call to meet him today.

    CARL

    Carl is a regal boy in a beautiful tuxedo. He is charming, a bit reserved and loves petting. He likes to be held and is a lap cat in training. He enjoys being a cozy indoor cat. He likes to play strings and is well liked by other cats.

    MORGAN

    Morgan is a playful, enthusiastic small boy. He loves petting but prefers keeping his feet on the ground. He enjoys playing ball and playing with other cats. He loves to visit new people and being silly at times.

    Asher and Bailey

    Bailey and Asher are brothers and great friends. They are both loving, sweet and turn on their purr motors for treats. They are also both shy with new people but would adjust in a loving new home. Bailey has double front paws, or at least too many thumbs. He is social and loves to play with toys and get pats and kisses. Asher is more the observer. He enjoys playing when the mood hits. They both like other cats and would like to find a home together.

    MISSY

    Missy prefers to be an only cat. She does not fight with the other fosters, but she let them know to stay away from her. She has claimed my son's room as hers. She allows my son to use her as a pillow! When it is bed time she wants her pats and kisses first and foremost! She likes to drink out to the bathroom sink! So I turn on the faucet and she comes running! I think she prefers running water to drink because she was on the streets for so long. The vet estimates Missy to be 1 yrs old. She is a beautiful white tiger who does not mind dogs.

    ZEPHYR

    Zephyr is a gorgeous long haired tuxedo girl, with a stunning personality to match. She's a diva! She loves to hang out with people and seeks out pats, laps, cuddling and lots of eye contact. She prefers to be the only cat in your life but will tolerate male cats. She will announce when she's had enough petting by hissing and a maybe a swat, so she is not a good match for a house with young children. She's a very healthy big girl who wants a home of her own.

    MARSHMALLOW

    Marshmallow is a great boy who was rescued from the outdoor life. He likes to talk when he first sees you or other cats and he loves to play and eat treats. He is a little scaredy cat sometimes which is cute since he is a good size boy. He loves attention and rubs around your legs. He may not be a good fit with young kids but he is a good boy who needs a place to call home, call to meet him today.

    FELICIA

    Felicia is an affection craving and playful young old female. She is a big girl, at 9 lbs and has beautiful sea green eyes. She loves to wiggle and roll when you talk to her and wants lots of petting and cuddling up to people. She enjoys playing with toys, especially with people. She isn't used to other cats and will hide out if they approach. She would like a home with lots of attention, and may like to be the only pet.

    DIXIE


    Dixie is truly in need of a home to settle in for the rest of her life, as she has been bounced around since her owner died and she was abandoned to the outdoors several years ago. She had to fend for herself through a harsh winter until being rescued by FoFF. She spent six months in a foster home, then eight months in another home but was returned to FoFF when they could not keep her. Dixie luxuriates in the indoor life, loving nothing better than to nap, sun and be petted. She exudes calm and mellowness. Dixie is a large, shiny black cat waiting to melt your heart!

    ROCKY

    Rocky is a big boy with large front feet and lots of extra toes. He is a bit timid but loves a good head scratch and is a sucker for treats. He gets only well with other cats and is roommates with marshmallow. He survived a life outside and is now enjoys the perks of indoor life.     ANNABELLA

    Annabella is a sweet little girl who likes to talk and be petted. She does not like people to chase her, but will come to you on her own terms if you wait for her. She doesn't like to be picked up, but is very friendly. She likes a warm place to sleep - like behind the furniture against the heater. She has beautiful light green eyes and a light tortie coat with little white feet. She does not seem to mind other cats. Her age is unknown. Please call to meet her today.

    KATE


    Kate is a beautiful big all gray girl - she is plush and friendly - loves to be petted and enjoys attention, but prefers to keep her feet on the ground. She likes to have her own space and personal chair to sit upon, especially in front of a window. She is playful but a little tense around other cats. She would prefer a home without other pets.

    DUNCAN


    Duncan is a little over a year old and is a very sweet, but shy boy. Duncan stayed in hiding for several weeks after coming to our home and only gradually became comfortable with us, the other two cats and the dog. After 6 months he can still be skittish and it is often hard to tell if he is dashing away out of silliness or shyness. Duncan has a tremendous purr which he uses frequently. He likes to come onto the bed in the morning and cuddle (when he chooses it) and purrs loud and beautifully. He loves the dog and will often go over and rub up against him, all the time purring at him and asking to be loved back. Duncan is very respectful of the other cats in the house and does not argue with them, but will back down and back off when they say to. Duncan also loves to catch mice (the real kind) to play with. Duncan will do best in a home with steady and patient adults and I would recommend no children since he will probably be too afraid of that level of activity. He disappears when friends come to visit and only comes back out after all has settled down again. Duncan should do very well with other cats and with gentle and respectful dogs.

    SHERWOOD


    Sherwood is a very sweet long haired male. He loves being petted, nuzzling and enjoys lounging in sunny windows with his cat friends.

    Taylor is a busy polydactyl boy with lots of energy. He is thrilled with toys and loves to hoard them and carry them around while announcing they are his. Taylor enjoys patting and posing for camera. He just started to enjoy being held and licks your face and hugs. Quite a silly boy who enjoys other cats.

    Libby is a small, high energy striped calico girl, she loves to be petted and get a lot of attention but is a bit too busy playing for extensive lounging or getting picked up. She's a climber and a leaper and an outrageous flirt with the male kitties.

    I am Mica and I am the outgoing one in the family and I have to admit a little bit of a toy hog. I just can’t pass up a feather or toy mouse! I love to be petted, and I love to play. You should see me run, I gallop like a horse (not that I’ve ever seen a horse but that’s what my foster dad says). I’m still getting use to people but once I know you I will love you to give me a good belly rub! I love chasing my brother; maybe you could adopt us both? Then you’d have twice the love!     Azar is an extremely handsome boy with extremely high energy. He's needs a lot of activity and initially had a very hard time being indoors and being around other cats. He's much more relaxed now and is enjoying being an indoor cat, thought he would appreciate a safe outdoor exercise area. He's a loving companion and enjoys being petted and interacting with people. He likes the occasional hug and lap visit if he's not too busy. He's a very vocal boy at times.

    Adoptable Kittens

    MAX



    Max is a black Coon kitten with a lion's ruff who is sure to grow into a large, handsome lapcat. He enjoys being a computer assistant (which involves swatting at typing fingers and monitoring the screen) when he is not dashing about with other toys. Fine with other cats or alone. He loves to be picked up and petted and is just a sweetheart. Don’t you want to meet him.

    DOVE



    Dove is a beautiful black and white cat who loves to lay on your shoulder and kiss your cheek - ear- face while you sitting. When she is done with the loving on you she will lay beside you and resume priming herself. As you talk to her she will stretch out her front paws, roll on her back wanting her chest scratched! She is a precious love of a cat. She gets alone with kids, cats, & dogs.

    CRICKET



    Cricket is an all black female kitten, about 4-5 months old, double pawed and very playful. Her name is Cricket because she hardly makes a peep, but when she purrs its as loud as a cricket. She would do best in a home with another cat, as she took to my cat very quickly, and would probably just be slower to adapt in a home without one. She has been around one dog, and was timid and scared at first, but warmed up very quickly. She's a very curious, sweet, loving kitten, and would make a great addition to any household.
